Wifi Password Recovery - Windows, Android, Linux, Mac

Forget your WiFi password ? Donno other password but, connected ? View / show Wifi password ? Recover Wifi password ? Android, Windows, Linux, Mac whatever the operating system Lets see how to recover Wifi password in this article.
Windows
Method 1 : GUI

• Open Run (press windows+R)
• Type in, ncpa.cpl
• Right click, "wireless network adapter"
• Click "Status"
• Click "Wireless Properties"
• Click "Security" Tab
• Click Show characters
• All done.

Method 2 : CLI

• Open Run (press windows+R)
• Type in, cmd
• command prompt will open.
• now type the following line in it,

netsh wlan show profile name=SSID key=clear

Note : Replace SSID with your WiFi connection name.

Method 3 : TOOL

• Download and Install, Wifi Key Viewer
• password : www.philiphacker.in
• Just open the app all done.
Android
Method 1 : ROOT CLI

• Download and install termux
• open and type in the following commands,

apt-get install tsu
cat /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf

• All done.

Method 2 : ROOT GUI (Manual)

• Download and Install ES File Explorer
• Open it and slide side menu
• Now click Tools » and enable root explorer
• Allow Root access permission
• Now click Local » and click device

• Now goto following path,
• / » data » misc » wifi
• click this file » "wpa_supplicant.conf"
• open with ES Note editor
• All done.

Method 3 : ROOT GUI (Auto)

• Download and Install, Wifi Password Recovery
• Just open the app all done.
Linux
Method 1 : CLI

• Open terminal
• change directory to following path,

/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/
or
/etc/wicd/

• Then, once you are at correct path, type ls
• it will list all files
• now use cat followed by Network name.

Example : type,
cat WifiName
or
sudo locate wpa_supplicant.conf (to locate the file in some old linux)

and in ubuntu, run the following,

sudo cat /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/.nmconnection

• All done.

Method 2 : GUI

• Settings » Wifi » Gear icon next to wifi name
• show password
• All done.

Method 3 : TOOL

• Install, Python
• Git clone wifresti
• run the py file, (python filename.py) • all done.
Mac
Method 1 : CLI

• Open terminal
• Type the following,

security find-generic-password -ga "Wi-Fi name" | grep "password:"

• login with mac username and password
• All done.

Method 2 : GUI

• Press Command + Spacebar
• Search for "Keychain Access"
• In the toolbar, toggle down to the "Passwords".
• In the search bar, type in your Wi-Fi network name
• Double click on your network
• Click show password.

Method 3 : TOOL

• Install, Python
• Git clone wifresti
• run the py file, (python filename.py) • all done.
